Gomaco Trolley Company began working on one single-truck replica Birney trolley in late 2002 for the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District in Fresno, California. The trolley will be part of a static display in Basin "Y" of Trolley Creek Park in Fresno. The single-truck replica Birney trolley is similar in appearance to the double-truck replica Birney trolleys which have been constructed for Tampa, Florida, Little Rock, Arkansas, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Memphis, Tennessee. The yellow Birney trolleys for Little Rock appear in several of the photos.

Fresno's single-truck replica Birney trolley was completed and transported to its new home in March 2003.
