Gomaco Trolley Company began working on three replica Birney trolleys in early 2001 for the Central Arkansas Transit Authority in Little Rock, Arkansas. The trolley frames appearing in some of the photos are Melbourne trolleys which were reconditioned for Memphis, Tennessee.

As of August 2003, all three trolleys, #408, #409 and #410, had been completed and delivered.
