Gomaco Trolley Company began working on three replica Birney trolleys in early 2001 for the Central Arkansas Transit Authority in Little Rock, Arkansas. The first trolley, #408, was delivered to Little Rock in late winter 2003, and construction continues on #409 and #410. The red, blue and green trolleys appearing in some of the photos are Melbourne trolleys which were reconditioned for Memphis, Tennessee.

As of August 2003, all three trolleys, #408, #409 and #410, had been completed and delivered.
