Little Rock, Arkansas, Trolley Service Opens November 1, 2004

The new River Rail streetcar service had its first passengers at a grand opening the first week of November 2004. Three replica Birney trolleys, #408, #409 and #410 constructed by Gomaco Trolley Company, were running the rails between North Little Rock and Little Rock, Arkansas. The 2.2 mile route crosses the Arkansas River on the Main Street Bridge and runs past the new Clinton Presidential Center and Park.
