Updating Of Charlotte, North Carolina, #85 Trolley

In 2006, Gomaco Trolley Company started updating trolley #85 from Charlotte, North Carolina. They put in new controllers, installed new wiring, added an inverter and installed a crank-style emergency brake system. A heater was also installed under one of the front seats. This project was completed and delivered in February 2007. Charlotte, North Carolina, also has three replica Birney trolleys running the trolley lines in their city.
